Refund Policy

We want Safi to be useful for you. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one. Refunds are processed through Stripe back to the original payment method.
1. Free Trial
New accounts get 1 similarity check per day for 7 days from signup. No payment is required during the trial, so no refund is needed.
2. PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) — $2 per song
PAYG purchases are single-song checks at $2 each, no expiry. Once a check has been used, the purchase is non-refundable. If you purchased a check and have not used it, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
3. Monthly Subscriptions (Label, Studio, Catalog)
You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues through the end of the current billing period. Partial months are not refunded.
If you believe you were charged in error or your plan failed to deliver value (e.g., service was unavailable for an extended period), please contact us within 14 days and we will review the situation case-by-case.
4. Yearly Subscriptions
Yearly plans include a 14-day full refund window from the date of initial purchase. After 14 days, yearly plans are non-refundable for the current term, but you may cancel auto-renewal at any time to prevent future charges.
5. Failed Payments & Grace Period
If a renewal charge fails, you have a 3-day grace period during which access remains active and Stripe automatically retries the charge. We will email you to let you know. If the payment recovers, no action is needed and no refund applies. If the grace period expires without recovery, access is suspended; you can re-subscribe at any time.
6. Disputes & Chargebacks
Please contact us at support@akilitech.io before initiating a chargeback. Most issues are resolved within 24 hours. Filed chargebacks may result in account suspension while under investigation.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email support@akilitech.io from the email address on your account with:
- The plan you purchased (PAYG, Label monthly, etc.)
- The approximate date of purchase
- A brief explanation of why you’re requesting the refund
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes to pricing, billing, or refund terms will be communicated by email to active subscribers before they take effect.
