What file formats do you support?

MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, and FLAC up to 25MB. For lyrics-only checks, paste text directly — no audio required.

Can I check tracks before they are fully mixed?

Yes — demos, rough mixes, and finished masters all work. A rough mix just means Safi has less signal to work with on melody and structure.

I made my song with Suno — how do I check it?

Download the track from Suno and upload the file here and the check runs end to end — recording fingerprint, composition match and all. Suno protects its audio files, so Safi cannot read the recording from a Suno link. Pasting the link still brings across your lyrics and style tags for a text-only pass.

Is there a browser extension?

There was a Suno one. Suno now protects the audio on its pages, so the extension can no longer read a track, so it has been retired rather than left to quietly return half a check. If you still have it installed, it will not work — upload your file here instead.

Nothing is lost from the check itself. Safi has never been tied to one platform: if you can export your track as an audio file, upload it here and you get exactly the same report. The extension was a shortcut, not the product.

How accurate are the similarity scores?

Every check returns a 1–10 score across four dimensions — lyrics, melody, structure, vocal style. Accuracy varies by genre and dimension.

What does an unscored dimension mean?

A dimension with no signal to assess, like voice with no audio supplied, reads as not scored. It is never treated as clean.

Is a "No matches found" verdict a legal clearance?

No. Safi screens for similarity against the sources named in your report; it does not clear anything. A low score means nothing was found in this pass, not that release is risk-free.

Is my music stored or used to train AI?

Uploaded tracks are deleted after analysis by default. Your music is never used to train any model.

Which sources does Safi check against?

A partial scan checks your recording against released recordings, and your words against a lyrics index. A full scan adds the composition scan — your melody inside other recordings, whoever sang it — and AI-generation detection.

Is there a free plan?

Yes — 3 free song checks, no card required, returning a similarity verdict and what was flagged.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Yes, plans change anytime and take effect on your next billing cycle.
